Steve and I are planning on making the ride, too.  We may have another person show up later at Yankees.

Made it home safe...now just thawing out my legs!  Good company...good food...and none of us went down!

If you haven't tried the chillie at Yankee's just go buy you a can of wolf brand -- no difference.

I'm thawing my feet out now.  I hope that guy that went down made it home ok.  That bike looked like it was a herbivore.

I hadn't checked the board since I posted last night so it was a nice surprise to have Steve and Jason show up.

and glad it was none of US that went down.  Tell ya what backtracking to fine yall, and then finding that group of bikes on the side of the road...

 Glad no one went down and ya'll made it home ok.I would have gone but come down with some type sinus crud so deceided to stay off the bike.Yankees the area anyway is a pretty good place to ride but the two times I have been to Yankess pretty much thought it sucked and couldn't figure out what the big deal was about the place.

I think there may have been a total of 10-15 people that were there at any given time during our time there.  It was probably the smallest crowd I've ever seen there, but the food came quickly.  The chili was okay, but their burgers are usually pretty good.  I usually just go for the ride, the burgers and the bike-watchin'.

I wish I had signed on this morning. Went on a nice little ride to the Thirsty Parot.
Not a bunch of people there. When we left, we were the only two bikes on the lot.
Stayed long enough to watch the Texans win.

Well, we left Yankees when they were down...then I get home and see that they actually won!  Sheesh...should've stayed and waited for the rain to stop.

Texans suck, I would rather ride in a rainy day than watch them win a game.... I bet they don't have a winning season next year and I bet is going to take them 8 years to make it to a play off game only to lose in the 1st round.
