Sunday isn't looking bad for a decent ride.
Yes, this weather is depressing.
Sadly, I have a blown head gasket to deal with, and this time of year is just too busy for me to even dig into it. I'll get it done eventually.

Water pump go out abd didn't know it did?Actually, I had been having problems with the cooling system. My temp light started to come on and the coolant overflow tank was getting full and not being sucked back up to the radiator after the engine was cool. So I blindly replaced all of the cooling components, including the water pump and some other items just for preventive maintenance. So when everything was put back together, I rode for a few days and that temp light came back on. Checked the overflow tank and had the same symptom, but no leaks again. I was also noticing that when I took off the radiator cap, the system was under pressure. So more research had me test the coolant in the system for hydrocarbons, which were present. So the head gasket leak is actually exhaust gases getting into the cooling system, building up pressure, and causing the coolant to stay in the overflow tank. Yay me!Quote from: xcaliber on February 13, 2018, 07:46:34 AMafter only 100,000 miles, dang unreliable Honda. I know, right? Except that there are others that have way more miles than I do and haven't had head gasket issues. Oh well...
If you don't use it you lose it.
