Some of us are making a trip in October 17-21.
Just wanted to post it out for others that might be intrested.

alright, I'm gonna try and make this happen. I got the vacation time and the way and since they allow dogs in the hotel Pupley and Penelope are ready too.

We have been To Eureka around 10 times in the last few years. Great roads, food, music, and local events. Hopefully, we will be at the right time, and it's a good year for the tree's turning.

That last time I rode to Eureka Springs was in October of 2008. It will be a nice trip worth reminiscing on.

Yeah, I totally remember that. It was cold and wet. I remember coming back home thru Indian Turn pike when a nasty storm and cold front hit us. It was brutal. I think I spent a good hour in the shower under the hottest water I could get out just to thaw out.
I'll say I was probably a little under prepared that trip 10 years ago. Not so much these days.

Getting ready for this trip.
Just installed a spare tire holder on the PUP PEN, new tires on the scoot, fresh oil change ( a little early but I got a big ride to OK in two weeks), added some more cool video equipment to my arsenal (smove mobile). I got some more stuff that I need but just pacing myself.

On September 15th we're riding from Paris Harley Davidson to the Choctaw Casino to be part of an attempt to break the world record of a parade of only Harley-Davidsons.
Scott (Rocket67) and Gary (Zerogs) are signed up and going.

So let say someone sneaked in with a VTX would that ruin the attempt

It just won't count. They are only counting H-D's. When you register they ask for you model and VIN. All bikes are welcomed but only H-D's will be counted.

I just saw a video that they are at least 100 bikes away from being registered for the record. Being there is what counts.
