ROT Rally 2012

Heading out towards Austin bright and early next Thursday morning. Not going to the rally per se, just gonna ride the hills by day and head downtown on 6th St by night. Been to expo center enough times to see all the boobs and drunks on golf carts to know that I don't need to spend the $70 to get in the gate. I see plenty drunks on bikes downtown for free.  :c

I'm leaving Wednesday to help a friend set up his vendor booth.  My friend is a dealer for RAM Mounts, Custom Dynamics Lighting and Ed Sets (check out his website at http://www.mountinginnovations.com ).  I expect to be working on Thursday as a volunteer with MSET (Motorcycle Special Events Team), an all-volunteer group that will be providing first responder medical service for the rally.  I'm then planning on participating in the rally events at the Exposition Center and on 6th Street.

The wife and I are going every night for the concerts and on Friday and Sat. afternoons to people watch.

Looks like I may be out on this one wife back in the hospital had two surgery procedures yesterday will wait and see how it goes.
