Looking for people to ride with next saturday

Hello, my name is zach and im new to the forum.  I have a 2004 VTX 1300.  Im just looking for people to ride with and getting familiar with the forum and events.  I live in the NW houston/ cypress area.  I'm married, have two children, and im an engineer in the oil & gas industry. I like riding on 290 from houston to austin.

Welcome the the board, just got back from Spring Thing, really good bunch of folks the live here on the north side, should have no problem connecting with people on this board.

Try making a couple of meet and greets on Wednesday nights, best way to get to know VTX group.

Hey Zach, welcome to the board.  I'm fairly close to you in Magnolia, and we've got some great roads to ride in the area.  Try running 149 up through the national forest...that one is a must.

  Hello from sante fe. I'll ride with ya. As long as its not last minute. I haul crude oil in south east texas and i would have to know in advance. So i can make time to get home.

I'm near you and planned on making the next M&G.  Want to hook up and ride there together?  We need to hook up and leave about 6:30 PM to be there around the 7:00 meet time.  We can talk about oil & gas as I was in that industry as it relates to pumps used in the industry.  I sold oil field and chemical pumps for years dealing with the engineers.

It takes me about 30 minutes to ride from Huntsville to Montgomery.  I can meet you there for the ride north. 
The part of 149 that is north of Montgomery is the nice route that goes through the National Forest.
I make that run often.
