Tri-City (San Antonio-Austin-Houston) M/G 24 Jan
« on: January 09, 2009, 11:01:53 PM »

It's time for all the San Antonio group to get back together.  You can catch up on all the details on the Tri-City M/G in the General Discussion area.   The Tri-City M/G will be a great chance to go on a ride and meet a bunch of new folks from Austin and Houston.  Spread the word.  And as always try to bring someone along.  They don't have to ride a VTX.

The details leading up to this point:

Tri-City (San Antonio, Austin, Houston) M/G
LOCATION:     Hallettsville Tx at the Bel-Air Restaurant
corner of Hwy 90 and Hwy 77
WHEN:           Jan 24 2009 at 12 noon.

Vatto55 (Mo), jdugie (Johnathan) and I did a recon to the area and came up with the trip plan as follows.

•The San Antonio folks will be departing from the Flying-J Truck Stop at I-10 and Foster Rd. at 09:00 A.M. sharp in order to stay on schedule.  Try to be there early so we can get organized, fueled and so on.
• Arrive Seguin at 0925-Anyone from the New Braunfels area wanting to meet up with us and ride together can meet us at the Valero in Seguin at the corner of Hwy 46 and Alt Hwy 90 (Court St.) at approximately 09:25 A.M. We will stop there for about 20 minutes.
•Depart Seguin at 0945.
•Arrive in Gonzales at 10:30-Anyone from the Austin area that wants to meet up with us we plan on being at the Buc-Ees Convenience Store in Gonzales for a short break at the corner of Hwy 183 and Hwy 90 (Sarah DeWitt Dr.) at approximately 10:30 A.M.
•Depart Gonzales at 10:50.
•Arrive in Hallettsville at 11:35

Looking at the Google maps I figure these may be the routes that the New Braunfels and Austin folks might take.
If anyone would like to give me their PH# and get mine so we can communicate just send me a PM.
IF YOU ARE GOING TO GO BE SURE TO DO THE POLL AND SEND MATAP A PM.  I MUST KEEP THE RESTAURANT FOLKS INFORMED OF A HEAD COUNT.
IT WOULD ALSO BE GREAT IF YOU DID A SHORT POST HERE IF YOU ARE GOING SO WE WILL KNOW WHO ALL WE WILL BE WAITING ON AT THE FLYING J START OFF POINT.

San Antonio riders please sign up and do the poll under General Discussion so we can keep an accurate count on who is going.  After doing the poll just send Matap a short PM so he can keep the list updated.  I need to notify the restaurant of some kind of a head count. That way I can also figure out who all to expect at our SAT departure point.
