We only have 2 true west locations so we're back to Swampy's.

Swampy’s Cajun Shack – Mapquest is the only correct link.

???  Will try to make it. May run late. Have kiddo duty first. Hope around 6:30 or 7:00ish. May have to bring my riding buddy> If she doesn't get in trouble at school that day!

What makes for a good location?  I am new to this group and I live in West Houston near I-10 and BW8.  I can think of a couple of places that might be good for a M&G.  I just need to know what our requirements are.

David

hey there I also live/work in the west side.

A good location for the meets will be a place that has plenty of room for a group of 20 or more, also the prices are about 12-18 dollars for food.  fast service is always nice.  If they sell beer is a plus.

Have any of you tried Clay's on Clay road between SH6 and Barker Cyprus.  They have a big nice parking lot and lots of table space.  Food is OK prices are reasonable and they serve beer.

Just a thought.

I am going to try to make my first M&G this Wednesday.  What time does this start and do you have a seperate room or just take over several tables?

7 pm is the usual meet up time...some come a few minutes earlier, most come a few minutes later, lol.  At all the ones I have been to it is just a matter of who ever gets there first tries to corral a few tables...enough to accomodate 10-15 people, sometimes a few more.  Not so sure I will be making this one...will know more on Wednesday.

If I'm anywhere near home, I'd like to come down,,, (1st M + G here) Swampy's is 'just down the road' from my house. Might be tough though, as I'm in Illinois now,,,
