We got soaked in Houston, put on our rain gear and never saw another drop of rain! Oh well, at least we made it home safely. Had a great time and met a lot of great people!
-
Made it home about 20 min after RD did. Yes, I too put the gear on just after I smelled the rain. I think that warded off the rain Gods, because I did not see a drop the whole way home. Thanks Brookster for letting Lori and I stay in the House. It was nice to meet all of you and lets do it again soon.

Tina & I made it home safely. Had a great time, and enjoyed all the visiting and eating!!! O0

Home safe...tired, but safe

Too funny on the rain/gear! Steve and I decided to go out there this afternoon and figured we'd hit rain but left anywhere. It was just starting when we left. Got about halfway between alvin and santa fe when steve decided he wanted to go back to get his face mask (no shield on his helmet so the rain was hurting! ouch!). We ended up deciding to take the truck. And guess what? NO MORE RAIN! Oh well.
Glad everyone made it home safe! We saw a fatality Friday night on the way home so that spooked me a little the rest of the weekend. :'( Lots of fun seeing everyone Friday night though! Cant wait til next year now!

Jim made it a dry ride home for Sheri and I.
He wore his rain gear and was almost blown off of his bike when the hood came out of his jacket and inflated like a parachute.

Yeah, if any of you call me you won't recognize my voice on the phone for a few weeks..................

You mean your voice sounds like you got a little tight in the pants? Oh yeah any more ants???

Would you believe I brought some home with me? One of them let me know he didn't like my driving coming into Houston. He (actually, in retrospect I'll bet it was a she) knew just how to obtain my full attention. Immediately. And completely. I'm quite sure I provided considerable amusement for several cagers for a few hundred yards. I'll always have intimate memories of IH-45 from now on..............

Now you have Lori Laughing.....
-
Well, she should be laughing; she has a pretty smile (not a come-on, just an observation).

You know marigold and you should come over and ride the hillcountry with us. You will allways have a place to stay.
