My M109R
« on: June 18, 2006, 09:15:56 PM »

Well, I couldn't resist, I bought a M109R on Friday. Hopefully the rain is not a bad sign, I was only able to put 100 miles on her this weekend.

All I can say is WOW... El Mucho Power, handles Great, heavier than the X but feels lighter. Since I'm a working stiff and hard to justify 2 bike payments, I'm selling the X. Which, I'm sure some seen on the forum already....

I'll still like to come and visit with you guys/gals at the meet n greets! Infact, I'm looking to get a group of M riders to Bills Cafe this Wednesday. Or might show up whereever the next MnG is at...

Here's some pics. Not the greatest pics, but the weather has been pain this weekend....

Awe man, when can I drool on it?  That bike is sweet.  Every time I go into a Suzuki dealer, I'm drawn to it.  Looking forward to seeing it in person, and I want to see what she'll do on the road, too!  O0

Sorry, it's personalized drool only... MINE

I've been taking it easy on her until I get to the 1st oil change, 600 miles. But I did play once; I was on the east belt with my brother. He wanted to play so he gave his Honda 1100 some throttle and I was soon to follow. I was in 3rd when we did this. I left him behind and slapped in 4th, looked down and saw it at 110 mph (not sure if the Speed Odometer is off). I eased off then!

It's alot of fun. I bought it at K's Motors... No one that I found was willing to deal, so I ended up getting a $250 flip-helmet with it...

Dave is right, the VTX1800 is 743 Dry and the M109r is 703 Dry... I didn't pay that much attention to. :)

what is the rave on tis bike?

They basically took their sport bike, GSX-R (I think) technology and incorprated it into a cruiser. Developing a true sport cruiser. It comes with a factory 240 rear tire, dual throttle body, 2 air-intakes, 1783cc V-Twin; It's handles better than the VTX1300 and has world of HP and Torq. Last I read over 120hp and not found what the torq is...

Is it their answer to the 1800? Or are they going after the VRod? But either way, I like the sporty look and still have the cruiser style!
