When we watch a video like this, should we try to "spot the mistake"?
I think they got a little too hard on the rear brake, locked the rear wheel for a sec, and then let off. After that, grabbed a handful of front brake without locking the front tire, but enough to make the bike stand straight up and didn't get off the front brake enough to be able to lean.

I showed up at a campsite where 4 of my biker co-workers were staying. We were going on a morning ride to get breakfast. Two of the guys that were supposed to ride waved me on and said "We can't make this one". My boss started his bike and looked at me and said "A lot of people 'own' motorcycles".

Kinda looked to me like he dropped 1 gear and twisted a little too much and the rear tire broke loose.

I did that once on my interceptor.  I dropped the clutch in too low of a gear and locked up the back tire.  In efforts to correct the problem I goosed it.  Sudden burst of power took the wheel from sliding to spinning.  The back end hopped a little bit and it got squirrly.  I pulled the clutch and everything kinda worked it's self out.

Those things have such a short weel base ,that why the get out of control
with the slightest mistake .
