I have big guns, but I mostly shoot 22cal. I can afford to burn 500 to 1000 rounds in a afternoon of plinking. I don't think I would enjoy 500 or more rounds of 50cal, even if I could afford it. Gander Mountain has 45-70 pistols, I have been lusting, but to tell the truth I don't need such a gun. That don't mean I won't get it anyway.

Well my spine is still in place and no wool growing around here. I got one gun, .45 Kimber don't need anything else.

The spine factor comes into play only when The wife objects to the price of your new toy, when you done did the deal. That new toy can come with hidden cost, unrelated to the seller. Big boys will have their toys, but a unhappy woman is a very high price to pay. Been there  no tee shirt.

That wasn't aimed at you personally, I just don't feel any gun is to big or to powerful.
