biker cop accident
« on: June 08, 2006, 09:05:50 PM »

just saw on the news that a MC cop was chasing a suspect through a parking lot and "hit a curb" he was concious and alert, but the suspect got away. I wanna know why he was taking a Po-Po roadking up onto the curb in the first place.

I always thought that cops should have different types of bikes. Kinda like some agencies have "interceptor" cars like Camaros and Mustangs, they shoud have "interceptor" bikes like R1's and 'Busas. Nobody gettin away now! Wouldn't an R1 look sweet in black and white with some red and blue strobes tucked away in the fairings?  Maybe it's just me.  O0

One of the cities in the Metro, I think it is Arlington, is phasing out their BMWs and Kawi's and going to all HD Roadkings.  It was listed in the paper last week.  What a downgrade....

But I've seen a pic of the OK busa, shweet

NOTE: The following is hear-say information

I was talking to someone, somewhere, and was told that a city in the southwest, maybe Phoenix, had Harley's for their motor patrol. They kept them less than 9 months, gave them back to the dealer, and purchased BMW's. Supposedly Harley has a police program that costs a city very, very, little money. But, they had so many repair problems, the city mentioned, went out and payed big ticket for the Beemer's.
