San Antonio has a very active PBS station, and every year they have an auction. Suzanne is glued to the tube every night, till the wee hours of the morning. A few years ago we had the winning bid on a trip to England. We had a great time, and everything was 1st class, and went off without a hitch. You can bid with confidence, that you'll be receiving what is presented.
This year we noticed that there were several offering of overnight stays in Bandera, and Leakey, as well as B&B's. I thought I'd pass on this info, because you can bid over the internet, and it might save some of you some money when you come to the Hill Country.
