Layed the bike down
« on: August 03, 2007, 02:51:13 PM »

Well, I layed the bike down when I was 3 blocks from the house. It started sprinkling (just enough to make an oil slick), and I was approaching a 3-way stop with a car stopped in front of me going about 20-25 mph. I put on the rear brake, started fishtailing, got off the rear brake, put on the front brake, but was too late. I rear ended the stopped car going about 15 mph. I got some bruised and craked ribs and a pulled muscle in my back. Very little damage to the car, a small dent in her rear bumper with a torn pice of plastic showing the styrofoam underneath. The front fender of the bike got dented up and bent the right engine guard up next to my rear brake pedal. I don't think the front forks got hurt at all (thank God). I guess I'm taking it to Woods for the repair job. At least I'm still alive and kicking!!!!  O0 O0

Good to hear that your ok and still kicking. I guess the phrase " Smell the Bumper" used by Snake you can apply it to your sayings.   8)
