Color?  I don't know.  I like the titanium like yours.  The dk orange looks great.  They had a gold, 06 with 3400 miles that had everything but sneeze through wind vents and chromed fender dents.  I noticed they don't want to come off list much and want a $749 +/- "prep" fee.  I can see what Hal )HDL guys) sells them for at his Ohio store and he is about 2 g less.  

What surprised me the most about the Wing was it felt several hundred pounds lighter than my 1800 R; just the opposite of what I expected.  The creature comforts were a plus.  The next question would be to trade the X or hold it and sell it outright.  Either way, I would pull most of the options off and part it out - board members to get first shot.

jerry don't get the cd player, it's cheaper, and easier to get an mp3 player, like an i pod, download all your cd's and just play it througth the aux. i have over 50-60 albums on mine, can ride for 8-9 hours and not hear the same song. also if you still want one, up here at kays motorcycle shop in nolanville, she has the kury. heel toe shifter for your bike.looks pretty good,and easy to install.

i have a rio carbon player and it playes about 20 hrs. on a charge, and it usually last for a long weekend, the charger is small and it charges up fast, and i know it's high but the cb is worth it, and if you want to order the head sets for your helmet, pm me and i can tell ya the one to get. O0

OK, I checked the map on Google.  Hal's Honda dealership in Shadyside, OH is exactly 1,444 miles from my house.  Fly there, ride back.  What's not to like?

Someone posted a place not too long ago on this board about a place in the south here that had X's way cheap. That would be the best place to get it.

The ride to Louisana this weekend was a dream.  One of the best features on it is the self-canceling turn signals, especially for me. :)  Oh, the heated grips & seat came in real handy, too. ;)  Oh, the cruse control is great when not riding in a group.  Oh, the adjustable windshield is neat.  Oh, the Navi map thingie is super.  For those of you who know me, you know I have already filled up all the trunk & side compartments with all my junk. ;D  Now, if it only had a potty. ::)

Quiet Guy, thanks for the link.  Good negotiating tool.  If nothing pans out locally, I can fly SW to Tulsa near Bartlesville.  Buy there and return ride is only 600 miles.  Plus I would get to visit Oklahoma; I'd like to see what America looked like in the 50's.   ;D

I have an 1800C and a Wing. I didn't ride the X for nearly 6 weeks after I bought the Wing but lately have been riding it quite a bit more. Both are great bikes and as different as night and day. I am definitely keeping both. You can't beat the Wing for trips and I still get a kick out of riding that X around town... 8)
