Seems overly priced. I paid a lot less for something with a collar that extends about a third of the way down my chest. I bought it several years ago and don't remember where I bought it from, but it's made by "Chill Out!! Designs, Inc.". It worked as advertised while riding during August through the Arizona/California desert, but its cooling effect required rapid evaporation. Since rapid evaporation only occurs in very dry air, it seems unlikely that it would work well around here. In fact, when used around here, it might just act like a warm, wet blanket. Even when used in a very dry place, it only worked for me until it dried out, which happened within no more than 15 minutes, and once dried out, it acted just like another layer of clothing. In fact, on the occasion I used it, I wound up stopping about every 20 minutes or so and just drenching my whole upper torso with water, so in the final analysis, the vest didn't really contribute much.

My experience with the Hyperkewl in that same California/Arizona desert was that it would last about 40 minutes.  I actually removed the vest and placed it in a large ziplock bag and dumped a cold water bottle into it and it would soak it all up.  I did this only 3 times while getting thru the Mojave desert.  Once I got past all that really nasty dry heat it went back into a bag.
