any recomendations for CHL renewal

I have 6 months to renew my CHL lisense.  Any recomdendations where to go?  By the looks of the paperwork, it sounds like I have to do everything all over again...   :-\   if that's the case it may not be worth my $$ since I don't carrie the gun with me.   Since I have 6 months to make up my mind, I figure I would ask.

The renewal is four hours, as opposed to ten for the original license. You review the laws and all the PC BS (the hoplophobes think that when some thug sticks a knife at your throat at the ATM, your application of the NONVIOLENT DISPUTE RESOLUTION techniques they teach will show the thug the error of his ways, and he will immediately withdraw his threat and slink remorsefully away) that has been mandated. You take the exam and qualify. Yer done. You have to do the renewal no more than six months prior to expiration.

I'm new here but my recommendation is do it. Once that is accomplished then carry. The only time I don't carry is while at school, you know the law and all. Been carrying for over 12 years and have never had to even think about using it but that one time I do and if it's not there then who does it hurt? Me or those around me.

If you are near San Antonio , The Bullethole off of Hwy 90 west side San Antonio . They helped with all the paperwork very nice helpful people use them last two renewals.

Demon I don't know where you are located but Gander Mountain has Instructors aligned with them. In Houston area you have Hotwells, Tactical Firearms in Katy and most gun ranges have someone who instructs.

Yeah, I had to laugh at some of the fallout from that. Those incredibly stupid hoplophobes keep yammering that the world has failed to notice that they are the only ones who got it right. In spite of their inordinately high violent crime rate. But then, that's the state that brought us Obama. And Blagojevich. And all those other incredibly stupid, morally bereft left wingnuts.

is not green any more is gold, how many do you need?  I know someone that knows someone that has a cousing that is married to this gal that works for a guy that voted for Obama.
