Glad you weren't hurt any worse - even though I know what you got is pretty painful in itself.  Great job in laying the bike down and keeping your head together during the few seconds it takes for something like this to happen.

I found a bunch of new sore spots today.  The drugs worked I slept for 11 hours, in my recliner since I get more comfort there than in bed. I don't think I can get in and out of the tub for that salt bath.

Jan is taking it pretty well.  She will still let me keep the bike.  The cop at the site told her I did a good job of laying it down, so I think that helped.

The driver worked for a large trucking company so they will let me know if the want to pay for everything direct or the insurance company.  I hope I can get out on Friday to check out the X and see what all needs to be done.

What a great weather weekend it would have been to ride.

I know with the weather that we have all been waiting for, it really sucks not being able to enjoy it.  I can only imagine how my wife would have reacted in this situation, Bob.  She is now to the point that she can not imagine how miserable and un bareable to live with I'd be if I did not get back on that horse and ride!  Keep your patience, and do not rush the body.  Wounds take time to heal, and before you know it, you'll be back out there and a better rider from the experience.

Glad you didn't meet your personal karmageddon!  Thrilled you are basically OK.  Hope everything works out quickly and you are up and biking by cooler weather.  This cool snap will end just before it gets hot again.  Anyway - Hang in there!!
