Where's Sanderson?

54 miles east of Marathon, on 90.

From my gallery here:

The motel in Sanderson my group rented, (we rented the whole thing):

And heading down to Marathon the next morning:

Jason...by truck it takes me about 9 hrs. to make El Paso on I-10.  I guess it would depend on whether you are riding or smelling the roses.
Typically, it takes me 4hrs. to get to Ft. Stockton by car.  So, yes it is, you can do it.  I made it from Amarillo to Denver in 7 hrs. and that was
440 miles.  But if traveling down Hwy. 90 make sure you have your gas lined-up, because past Del Rio the stations are few and far between.  :bikerider:

No doubt we warned!

My video of River Road a couple years ago.  Shaky cause the camera was mounted on an extension from the handlebar to get past the windshield  (was on my Goldwing at the time).  Smooth when I moved the camera to the engine crash bars for some hill country videos!

Oh yeah! That what I'm talking about!

I love that road. 170 between Presidio and Lajitas. The position of the sun changes the shadows and the look every time you take it.

I'll definitely be going back there time and time again. It's a great ride.
