Sorry to hear of your loss! I'm sure this post could go on and on, but I can't help it, I have to chime in. I too lost my one of my dogs on January 22nd. He was a Cocker Spaniel named Buddy. I came home from work that Thursday evening to find that he passed away sometime during the day. It broke my heart that I couldn't be there with him when he passed, but I know he is in a better place and not struggling with his old weak body anymore. We knew it was coming, just didn't know when. He had lost his sight and was having an extremely hard time with his back legs. (hips) We had to help him get up every time and help him walk outside to do his business.
