All right, I am new to X world, and knocking the rust off on the motorcycle world.  Returned after nearly 20 years...crazy wife wouldn't let me ride until the kids got older and I could afford better life insurance...This place is right up the road from me, so I may just pop right in and say howdy. 

Is there some secret handshake or password I should know about?

Welcome Txsrooster. What scooter do ya' ride?? Yes, there is a decoder ring to be able to understand swampfox speak, but you'll learn more about that later. The people here are great, seemingly without the problems found on lots of forums. The BBT mentioned is a camping ritual started in 2003 by this group and carried on by the rest of us, no matter of what brand of bike you ride. One guy we have is riding a big Banana! I ride a 2007 VTX 1800T, pretty much all stock at the moment.  I do need some riding time, we are planning a ride to the three sisters sometime soon and tail of the dragon in July.  Loving it so far.

The Wed night M&G are open to all to come on bike or car.  We would rather you come in your car then not come at all.  It is just a time to eat and visit.  Like Rocket said, SteveS usually makes all the M&Gs and he looks like Santa during off season.

BBT is last weekend in April and it's close to the sisters.  Last year was my first BBT and it was a lot of fun.  I had a VTX for about a year and now have a Harley but they still let me hang out with them.

I've never been there but have been wanting to try it out so I'm going.
