I used to stay at the Ocean Hut Motel in Daytona Beach, pretty good location, and it is cheap and cheap...  I may get a room there, if it is still there, I haven't been in 3 years...

Anyone else planning on going?  I know its early, but what the hey?  Failure to plan is planning to fail, so might as well get an early start.

 Hey keep me in mind on Daytona thinking very serious about going seeing how someone else wants to ride as well.Will have a better idea in a month or two

I don't have the time this year but it sounds like a great ride.  I use to live in Florida and both Daytona Bike Week and Biketober Fest were great events.

Another great one is the Colorado Ride in in July.  In a way I liked this one better.  It iwas a two day ride - open road with friends, 3-4 days riding the rockies and then another two day ride home.  No rally's just bikers hanging out and riding together.

Will be in IRAQ dillydallying in the sand, however I was thinking of riding mine to BIKETober Fest in October.

    How long you gonna be in the sand box was told this week I may be over there in June or July for 6 to 8 months.Actually in Kurdistan and part of Turkey.I retired from one company and went to work for another company more money straight days and make my own hours pretty much 
   I would like to hit either one ofthem October rally or the bike week or both.

We'll be there from the 3rd thru the 9th, camping out in Palm Coast at the Hampton Inn.  I'm trying to get a group out of north Texas together for the week....  Been going for years..  This event is already huge and just keeps getting bigger every year..!!!!
