Well, we're out.  Our other dog (blue heeler) had her puppies (all seven) last night, and Lori and I are beat!  We've got to get some shut eye!  You guys be careful!  We'll try to catch the next one.

Yes, we pass by there all the time.  We live out off Nichols Sawmill Road.  We're getting accustomed to the country life after living in The Woodlands.  It's very nice out here!

Nice ride, even if we had to leave early - got a little rain on the way home. Looked like Greg was going to get hammered with rain when he took 105 home. Talked with Mike and he just skirted north of the rain on his way home.

Thanks for leading David. No drama this time !

Does he live in Oak Hill Acres?? That is where I lived.

I remember when they built that store.  We cut trails threw the woods behind it to get there without going out on 149  which is now 249.LOL

I agree.............. it was a good ride.
After I split from Ron and Greg at Hwy 59, I took the Hwy 190 Cold Spring route back home.
I just missed that hugh thunderstorm while on FM1097 just before I got to I-45.  Stepped it up to triple digits runninging down FM1097 and managed to get ahead of it before I crossed paths with it......but only by about one minute.  The temp dropped 25 degrees in about a mile as I just passed to the north of the black clouds and lightning.  Thought I was going to get hammered, but didn't.  One the way home I came across a one vehicle accident on 149 south of Montgomery where a red pickup flipped upside down.  The driver was killed.

I'm concerned about Greg because Ron said he broke off from him at Hwy 59 & Hwy 105.  That would have put him right in the middle of the storm.  Ron said he WAS headed striaght into it.

Anyone have Gregg's number????????????

Hi guys,

I did hit a pretty good storm in Conroe but I just pulled over and waited it out glad you guys all missed the worst of it. I saw the wreck on 149 too, it was bad.

Enjoyed the ride and the company look forward to the next one.
