Brad!  Brad!  Brad!  Now that's not a very polite question to ask and it might be a touchey subject, but speaking of the subject, now that we're already on it, what happened?  :D :D :D

Well it appears I stepped on the Toes of Tim.

If you recall the thread with the logo designs? After trying to adjust them to everyones liking I finaly put out one that seemed to have hit the target and some one asked how we would decide which one it would be.

So I created a poll announced it and put them all up for everyone to vote on.

Tim took offense to this pulled the poll and advised me that doing that was "bull AppleSauce" because I didnt consult with him and the other mods. Now I figgured since they had all been chiming in on the thread everyone was already on board, I mean it's not like I just sprung this on everyone.

He advised me that there was a democratic process that had to be followed and that it should be majority decision.........(ahhhh it was an open poll for everyone to vote) then he told me I had a choice to make either be a team player or find another forum!

He then went on to tell me he didnt even like any of the designs and that the brother of one of the other mods was a graphic artist and we should have him do it.

So I del all the logos and told him thats fine with me, I also asked that I not be a MOD anymore and suggested that I would just go blend in with the pee ons and leave all the important stuff to him.

All this took place on the mod forum not in the open..

I then made what would be my last post on the forum and advised everyone that I had crossed the line by trying to put those up for a vote and that the choice would be made by someone other then myself and that that was fine by me.

Next thing I knew I was banned. Later in the day my father called and asked why he could not get on the forum and I found that he had also been banned even though he didnt even know about this exchange. lol

Tim later sent me this msg

Doug,

As you know, I banned you from the forum as your last post was uncalled for. I called you out in the Mod room to have a discussion and then you turn around and make a post about it to the group? Surely you could have come up with something a bit more diplomatic.

Whatever your reasons, it's unacceptable as a Mod or member of the forum.

Take care,
Tim

He sent me another telling me it was nothing personal but he was not going to put up with my  "aggressive behavior" LOL

What ever. All I wanted was a list of folks that might want to go ride a forum with rules and mission statements and logos and what ever is becoming more and more like a structured club under and whats worse is it is a club under someone who appears to have some security and control issues.

So if you guys want to ride with me give me an e-mail and I will add you to the list I started before the forum went up.

No I am sure he has banned by ip since my work PC had that set as my home page and when I fired up the broswer the other day it said sorry guest you have been banned LOL.

But in reality Ken if thats the way things are going to be, Tims way or the highway....then I dont care to be there.
