Kreuz is closed on Sundays.  His sister owns Smitty's BBQ located in their daddy's original Kreuz'z BBQ place.   She is open Sundays as is Blacks BBQ.  http://www.smittysmarket.com/  

At Smitty's you pay for your BBQ and then enter the dinning room and buy your sides & drinks just like City Market BBQ in Luling.  City Market is closed Sundays however.

All of the places mentioned in this thread are good eateries.

Also, I remember a place in Summerville that serves a buffet of home style cooking.  Open on Sundays because I think we had to beat the church crowd.

Right now I am thinking I will ride Saturday and Sunday.  Looks like the weather is gonna be on our side both days with a little more wind on Sunday.

Stupid weather ... temperature keeps dropping each day. But who do you trust? One forecast says a high of only 55 on on Saturday, another 60.

Sunday is looking like the warmer of the two days? Don't care much, either way its going to be chilly meeting up in the morning.

The place in Somerville is only open the 1st Sunday of the month.  He does catering.  He did my daughters wedding.  His name is Mantey but I don't think thats the name on the place in Somerville.
Just thought you might want to know instead of riding up there and finding the place closed.
