Sherri and Marigold,

We can meet you at the Walmart parking lot on 242 & 45 around 10:30am or so, and then we can meet some Spring riders at the Raceway on 2920 just west of 45.  From there, we can ride 2920 on over to HCS.

I'll get a ride mapped out tonight.

Looks like we can make it! You gonna stop by Gumbo?  :bikerider:

Okay, I've got two different rides mapped out...

1.  Southern route takes us through some nice open roads with a few sweeping curves and twisties...very scenic.  We can stop at The Thirsty Parrot on FM 359 for refreshments.  Once we get back to Hempstead, everyone can break off from there and go home (or wherever).

  http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&source=s_d&saddr=14243+FM+2920+Rd,+Tomball,+Texas+77377&daddr=waller,+tx+to:brookshire,+tx+to:orchard,+tx+to:wallis,+tx+to:FM-1458+to:clemons,+tx+to:monaville,+tx+to:hempstead,+tx&hl=en&geocode=%3B%3B%3B%3B%3BFZ9RxQEdjnhG-g%3B%3B%3B&mra=ls&via=5&sll=29.845409,-95.874939&sspn=0.864772,1.230469&ie=UTF8&ll=29.848982,-95.874939&spn=0.864741,1.230469&z=10

2.  Northern route takes us to some very nice views of the Sam Houston National Forest.  Most of these roads are very scenic, and one of our all-time favorites (FM 3090) will be included.  When we get to the corner of FM 3090 and FM 244, we can either continue up FM 244 to Yankee's for refreshments, or we can do a u-turn and take FM 3090 back the other way and head back down FM 149 to Drifters Icehouse for refreshments.  Once we are done with refreshments, we can head back down FM 149 and everyone can split off where they need to.

http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&source=s_d&saddr=14243+FM+2920+Rd,+Tomball,+Texas+77377&daddr=FM-149%2FJackson+to:FM-149+to:FM-149+to:anderson,+tx+to:erwin,+tx+to:carlos,+tx+to:erwin,+tx+to:N30+32.6919+,+W95+49.18002&hl=en&geocode=%3BFQdhzQEdHdFL-g%3BFXRvzwEdEMNL-g%3BFVP80AEdsM5L-g%3B%3B%3B%3B%3B&mra=ls&via=1,2,3&sll=30.34199,-95.855295&sspn=0.860439,1.230469&ie=UTF8&z=10

Of course, these are just suggestions, so if anyone wants to add another "favorite" ride, please chime in and let us see the map.  And the ride can always be adjusted, meaning we're not on a schedule and can get lost if we want.

Sorry, I forgot to mention this is a "cruisers" only ride... no sport bikes or sport tourers are welcome!  Taunt

Does that include three wheelers also?  >:D:bikerider:

Let's meet at the Chevron station.  It's on the northwest corner.  If you're coming up 45, take the 242 exit, and get in the right left-turn lane (there are two lanes that turn left) at the light.  Then take your first right into the station.

Sherri & Marigold, is that good for ya'll?
