Who wants to come over and help me figure out  why i keep blowing a fuse still have no speedo or running lights and now i blew out a turn signal trying to find a short in the wires

Gonna work on it saturday so I can ride for dime :'(

Dont want to be out late with no running lights

Yeah, kind of a catch 22 to troubleshoot that...  You can't find the short without power, and you can't have any power because it instantly blows the fuse.  You can either get a self-resetting circuit breaker or you can just put a load on the circuit by rigging up a 12v light bulb in place of the fuse...  Then just start wiggling the wires to all the affected components.   Most common places for shorts to occur are somewhere in the wiring that goes up to the front end, in the area where the wiring has to flex because of the steering motions...  I've had & heard of some underneath the fuel tank, if they get caught up in those alignment bumpers when the tank is reinstalled...  Or if you've done any work on or near the affected components, for instance changing a light bulb and the fixture got disturbed a tiny bit or something...
