I have a mission to travel to the Burger of the Week spots on the TV show Texas Bucket List.  One of the ones on my list is Dubl-R Burger in Waco.  Anyone want to ride up for lunch and back through Richards and maybe a stop at Yankee's or Drifters on the way home?

***UPDATE****

I will be at Dobbin Saloon @ 7:30 AM on Saturday November 21 for breakfast, KSU by 8ish or earlier if everyone is ready.

The ride is going to be roughly 3 1/2 hours from Dobbin with stops so that would put us there around 12:00 for lunch.

I am planning on doing a ride back that goes through the National Forest on 149 but anyone is free to do what they like for the trip back...or up for that matter.

***WEATHER WARNING***
It's looking like a front is moving through early in the AM but is supposed to clear around the time we were going to head out.  To avoid anyone having to ride out in the rain we will slide the time if need be.  The easiest way to do that would be to just forget breakfast and KSU from Dobbin Saloon around 8:30.

I might be interested.  I have one pending thing that I need to figure out for that weekend this Wednesday.  If it doesn't happen and the weather is good (i.e. dry) then I should be down.

Also I have some heat demons shipped and want to put those in before the real cold weather gets here.

Cool.  My brother (Danny) is a 70% chance and buddy David as well.  BTW, if you haven't heard of Dubl-R, go to TheTexasBucketList.com and look them up.  The Hawiian Burder was Burger of the week a few episodes ago.  I am going to split one with someone....too much for one person!!

This will be my second Texas Bucket List trip.  The first one was to Snook to Slovacek's Sausage and then to Dixie Chicken in Bryan in the same trip.  If you watch the show then you know what this is about, if you don't watch I would suggest setting your DVR and checking out a few episodes.  They recently just added a map to the website which is really cool if you are already planning a trip you can find hidden treasures on the way.

Now I am confused do you know what he typing?  I give up  :redcard: 300 miles at adv. speed of 50 mph that's 6 hours with no stops What about breakfast  :lunch: Lunch :lunch: fuel  ??? stop to rest  :bikerider: a smoke  :cuss: and when we get there will they still be open for supper? Is there a hotel because I don't stay in motels with bed bugs. :stickpoke: :t

We could meetup @  Old Montgomery Steakhouse @ 8am, eat and head to Wheelock so the VTXers can fill up then off to Waco.  Should be there around lunch time.  Riding back will definitely stop @ Drifters and anywhere else we need.

10-day forecast says high of 64 and sunny!!  Great riding weather especially if your ride is air cooled.

Unless it's raining I am going for sure.  I will have a route by Saturday morning loaded in the GPS.  Either something like I posted or maybe through Brenham.  We could all meet at the Bucee's on 290.
