Becky and I have purchased a second home in Salisbury NC . This will be our retirement place of residence in about

2-1/2 years .This located very close to where we lived before moving to Texas . the property line touches our old property ,

which our youngest son Michael now owns , Our oldest son Chris lives less than 5 miles from here .

That's awesome Steve.  Congrats on the new home close to your old home.  I'm sure the family will be glad to have you nearby again.

Steve,

It's not a cliche. Wait until you retire and no longer have time to complete your chores. The first 9 years for us was GO GO GO GO.

Covid has returned us to slow time so I can catch up on my naps.  :t

Of Course it's dirty. It's hard to clean when the tires keep moving.

If you don't love what you're doing, then don't do it.
Your chances of success are directly proportional to the degree of pleasure you derive from what you do.
