Here's a hint...  I bought my first bike the year you were born.

I have a Daughter in High School and a Foster Son who's 4 months old.
and the only thing that changed about you with the move from sport
to cruiser is the perception of your intelligence....  for the better!  I know,
I made the same trip.

Ride Safe !!

This "ol fart" and my youngest son (who is 3 years older than you) both have X's and mine will outrun his, so age, speed,or whether something is "in" or "out" of style is strictly a state of mind. As I always tell my sons,
"If you don't mind, it don't matter".

I'm 29 I think. I too rode sport bikes before I bought my x.  I had a vfr interceptor (loved that bike) but the x is faster. I wanted something that I wouldn't get so many ticket on. One day I'll get old and buy a wing.  Hopefully by then they will have the automatic kickstand and selfleveling device, kinda like a motorhome.  As far as being in, well I guess when your riding a sleeper, you don't have to be in.

Some of Ol Farts have kids older than you but that does not stop us from riding the best ride in town. We have put more double breasted matress thrashers on the back of our bikes that you will ever dream of.
