16th Annual Teddy Bear Ride



Join us on Sunday, November 2nd for the annual ride which is one of the fastest growing motorcycle rides in the area.   Last year 800 motorcycles, with hundreds of passengers and cheering supporters generated $30,000 in revenue and brought over 3,500 teddy bears to CCCAC.

Last year some of us met up at Maxim and road in to the rally point together. This is a great cause and it would be awesome if we could get as many riders as we can to roll in to the rally point at once.

Todd ---   You are the man!   Listen up everyone.  If you are even mildly thinking about this Teddy Bear run  DO IT.  It's for such a wonderful cause.  There is great commroderie(sp) and fellowship.  I think it was at least 800 bikes last year  you have police assistance from McKinney, Allen and Plano and all associated with the Advocacy Center are so appreciative.  This is truly a fun morning for a great cause.  North Texas bikers stand up to help like no others I've experienced. I've seen it many times and many years.  Everyone, make this run -- you'll be glad you did.   and the people say "Amem"

For any of you who may be concerned about missing Church, there will be a brief service in the parking lot of McKinney High School prior to the run.

Site says ride to the advocacy center starts at 11am.  I talked to one of
the organizers today and she said the shirts/merchandise came too late to
mail so they'll have them at a table at the starting location.  Everyone will
be picking up so give yourself time to get through the line.

We're there.  The jury's still out on the bike night but we'll be there with bears on Sunday.
