I'm a nube here, just bought a (new) '05 1800 S about a week ago, traded in my 2000 V-Star 1100... Got windshield, light bar, & sissy bar from dealer, put some DCG graphics on it this weekend, Cobra Slash Cut slip-ons and some el cheapo leather bags are in the mail still... Other than not being used to a V-twin that whispers, I'm diggin' it so far... The pipes are supposed to show up tomorrow. Hopefully that'll do it for now till my bank account recovers some. Tried to upload a pic but "Upload folder full"...
I work from home mostly, but if I leave the house its generally on the bike, unless its raining, freezing, hailing, or tornadoeing. Heat don't stop me. I haven't had to start my car in about 2 months...
My girlfriend has a Shadow Aero, we usually go for a short ride for an hour or 2 most weekdays after work, if anybody this side of town wants to join us gimme a shout. We live in Garland near Broadway/Beltline & Centerville.
