Well guys I haven't been on in a while and hadn't had much time to ride either.  I spent the winter restoring our 69 corvette interior and AC and had actually decided to sell the bike today but wanted a last ride.  I rode from Justin up to Denton and rode around the square a few time to check out the Thursday night concert and was headed back West on Oak.  I remember leaving a light and passing a city bus, vaguely remember dodging (trying) to anyway some pot holes.  The next thing I know I was in the ambulance and waking up. 

The medic said the bike actually went airborne according to a witness after hitting the pothole. I had a little rode rash on the right side of the helmet, right shoulder, and elbow and cuts on my nose from the glasses.  Haven't seen the bike yet, hopefully she laid over and skidded to a safe stop or hit something solid to put her down.  With the highway bars it normally won't let her lay all the way over but not sure if it actually flew as I was told.

I wasn't going very fast at all as you can tell from the description I didn't really slide much if any.  Just wondering if anyone seen the accident or aftermath since I don't remember much.  At least the cars missed me and I feel pretty good except for the ego so I am very fortunate.  Must have been some deep holes or I panicked or something.  Details and pictures would be appreciated if anyone saw.

Glad you are okay and hope for a speedy recovery.  I hear you on the ego part.  I layed mine down a little over a year ago when I hit an oily spot trying to avoid a red light runner.  Good luck to you ! ! !

Good to read that you are ok. The traffic around Denton can be tricky in the evening.

I just wish my foresight was as good as my hindsight!  Glad you made it without major injury.  Hope you get a good settlement out of the insurance company.
