Griff's, JAX Grill or someplace on the south side all sound good.  Again, I'd suggest the Hans Mongolian BBQ, located in the same shopping center that the NASA Rd 1 Hooters and Floyds Seafood front on.  As I mentioned in my post for the Meet 'N Greet two weeks ago, the place is not as well decorated as the one we went to on FM 1960, but the food is as good, if not better, and they offer a better variety/quality of meat as well as a much larger choice of sauces (which you add yourself, in whatever combination you like).  The price is about the same as at the place on 1960.  The place sits on the south end of a large shopping center lot (Clear Lake Center), so parking is not an issue. As I also mentioned before, they don't serve beer or any other alcoholic beverage, so that would be an issue for anyone who might want to enjoy a beer with their meal.  On the plus side, the service is basically caffeteria style, so there shouldn't be any delay in getting served, and there will be no problem with sorting out a bill.  What do you think?

After I posted my suggestion and someone seconded it, there was another post suggesting Boonedoggles.  That left me believing that our meeting place had not been finalized.  I posted a request to confirm where we were meeting, and the only response was from someone who said they were backing out for the evening.  So . . . I assumed that we were at an impass and that, because it was getting very close to our meeting time, there wasn't going to be a get together at all.  If anyone had said that they were still going, I definitely would have been there . . . and made it on time!   ;)  Sorry.   :'(  Just one more blow to my credibility . . .  :-\

Anyway, JAX sounds good to me too.

We're going to Jax Grill.  I also edited and removed some posts to make this less confusing.  We had too many places in one thread.

Looks like I may just go for the ride.
What route are you taking 45 south?
Don't want to have to go all the way over just to come back down only get about an hour for lunch/dinner.
It's about a 20 minute ride for me to that racetrac  :'(

How about meeting @ the RaceTrac  @ 45 and 249 say 6:30 ??? If you are taking 45?
