The rotation of locations has been the same for 3 1/2 years.We all know the rotation order, but we don't know the resturant until sometime Monday. I'd bet some haven't made a M&G in the past they wanted to go to because they heard about it too late. You're either making it or not, regardless of which restaurant it is. I beg to differ. Location is not the only thing I consider when deciding to go or not. The type of resturaunt makes a big difference to me and I would expect it does to others. If I don't like the resturant, I'm proably not going. I'm guessing expected attendence based on forum response drives the decision as well. Some people may go just because a lot of others will be there, but they won't know who's going unless you give the group adequate time to responed and make room in thier schedules. I'm guessing some are not near a computer during the day and don't get a chance to read the forum until late in the day. I'm lucky because my schedule is fairly open so I can go or not at the drop of a hat usually, but for the consideration of others that might have full schedule, I think posting it sooner would be better for them. If someone really likes a resturaunt and/or the expected turn out based on forum response and they know about it sooner (like maybe Monday), maybe they can alter their schedules and make the M&G instead of not going. I don't see how posting earlier could hurt. It could only help attendence.
