I called Swampy's and the lady said that they will not open up until the 23rd of this month.

I'm still trying to get home from riding the tail of the dragon O0 (what a spectacular ride that thing is)!!! Hopefully the weather will clear on Tues so I can make it back into town. I'd appreciate it if somebody would pull the drain to get rid of the flooding :-\
I'll keep ya posted as to when Swampys finally opens :o

If your looking in West Houston............How about a new place?
Clay's Hamburgers on Clay Rd. just west of Hwy. 6. Not far from the intersection of I-10 & Hwy. 6. About two miles north of I-10 on Hwy. 6 is Clay Rd.. Turn left and it's on the left after a mile. It's pretty good size and should be able to handle us. I've talked to the manager and she said no problem. They have a seperate covered area outside we can have or stay inside. They have burgers, catfish, chicken fried steak and chicken, salads, ect........Beer, wine & MARGARITAS!!

PS................Go the speed limit on Clay because you will pass the Harris County Constiable's office on the left.

If I am understanding correctly Swampy's may not be open yet and Clays or Jax is it and there is only a 20% chance of rain? Hey what time is it? Oh yeah, Tuesday 11pm something. hmmmmmmmmm...... no comment ;D

about 1 mile north of I-10 on Fry Road.

Made it home OK and had a good time. Only had rain for five miles when I left the house, and hit the same rain five miles before I got back home. Kandie said it rained the whole time I was gone.
