Title: SPI (South Padre Island) Bike Fest - Roar By The Shore 9-12 Oct 08
Post by: GregC on June 27, 2008, 11:33:45 AM: Mary and I were told about the SPI (South Padre Island) Bike Fest that will be held 9-12 Oct 08 by Joe (JGomez55). We checked out the web site, http://spibikefest.com/ , and think it will be pretty nice. We went ahead and made reservations there at the Holiday Inn Express because we waited a little to long for reservations for the ROT and almost didn't find a room. We are way past the tent and camping out crowd. Wanted to get the word out about this bike fest and see how many others might be planning on going. It would be great to have a group get together there.

I haven't decided if I want to build one or look for a used one in good shape. Rocky was talking about how converted horse trailers work real well. Good thing I have three months to work on it.

Time to really start thinking about the trip to SPI... Who will be going and how??? ???

we can meet up somwhere and make this trip to SPI as a group......or we can meet up there....

I will be trailering it and will be leaving 10/9 around 6 pm from New Braunfels it takes about 5 hours to get there taking it easy... any one wants to make the trip let me know....

If we want to meet up PM me for cell # and we can communicate when and where...
