Joey sent me his password and I was able to upload 4 pictures fine under his login on Jennifer's computer in the BBT VI Gallery..  I gave all 4 pictures a title and used bulk upload.

Tinman, I haven't seen any errors from you lately.  Have you tried again?  If not, try now since I changed 1 file on the forum.

Careful guys...Brock starts with your own pictures, but then he'll start uploading from his porn collection.

Just sayin'.   :ohwow:

I see what you mean, I downloaded this pic and I can't post it either - some kind of a memory error, even changed the properties to reduce size from 1.6 MB to 477K still won't load :-\

can't seem to upload from my polaroid instamatic

If you'll take the picture and tape it to your monitor, with the picture facing the screen, and then press the "upload" button on your keyboard...it should work!!  Those Polaroids are a pain to work with!

First off, Tinman that picture is entirely too large.  haha

Second, apparently the host provider has changed their max settings as to how much memory a process can take up.  So, basically please resize your photos before you try and upload.

Joey for instance gave me a CD that had each image at 1.7mb and larger.  I resized to 1024x768 and can upload several at a time because their combined size is less than 1.5mb.  It has more to do with the software converting the images over to a thumbnail and resizing them if it's too large.

Attachments in a post have a different size limit so that's why you can attach an enormous photo.

My pictures in my gallery are almost 1mb each from my previous trips and I was uploading 12 at a time.  The limits have changed on the host provider at some point.

Gary, you'll be okay with these new changes...just make sure the Polariod will fit inside the monitor's screen size.  Otherwise, it will be cropped!  :t

I've got a support ticket in with the host provider, so maybe I can get some input on how to increase the limit.  I know for a fact that the limit used to be larger.

Joey, all of your photos have been resized and uploaded.  I did it under your id so they show up as your pictures.

Here's what their response was...

"Would you please provide the admin area login and password and steps necessary to upload an image and maybe a link to a large test image to use? Your script is hitting the Apache Memory limit in place on our servers, however we may be able to tweak a setting to have this operate within the memory parameters or, under some circumstances, we can raise this limit a bit for you.  Thank you for your business,  Chris N"

I sent them a file and where to upload.  We'll see what happens.
