An oil filter wrench. Went to change out the oil in Andrew's bike tonight for the first time since he bought it. No matter how strong and manly the men in my life are, neither one of them could budge the filter. It's like it is LockTighted on there. We don't have our oil filter wrench with us and thought that someone going to BBT surely has one and could hopefully toss it in their bag. Wayne was going to puncture the filter with a screwdriver to get it off, but we had the thought "what if he still couldn't get the filter off?" So we just put in new oil with the old filter and thought that we would see if we could get it off at BBT. Let me know if you can bring one to help us out. Thanks

you know i just use a big pipe wrench to take off my old ones. trash'em anyways, and really once you put on a new one, it should only be put on with a good hand tighten from a strong manly man, and that should be it. I'll bring my pipe wrench if you need.

I have what you need, if it won't get it off - it is welded. I'll bring it, but let know if you do or do not need it before we all leave.

Hey Gumbo, if you could bring it that would be great...or Matap, either one of you, lol.

+1 chanell locks will do it.

I usually just shove a screwdriver through them. Like was said before you just trash them anyway.

noticed you said you put new oil anyways. go ahead and bring another quart of oil, so when you get the filter off, you can replace what was spilled.
