Trike
« on: October 22, 2014, 02:16:23 PM »

Has anyone thought about converting, or has converted, their VTX to a trike? From my research, it appears to be less expensive than buying a used one. The only thing I have noticed is that most manufacturers of the kits don't make them for the 1800c, mainly just the R & S models. I've been thinking about this because I would like my wife to ride with me more and she just doesn't like the ride on 2 wheels.

Not sure if she wants or (you want) a VTX specifically but Shadows make good trikes and so do the Harley Sporters.

I was thinking of converting my 1800n and stopped by H&H Eastex Motor Sports they are at 4177 Louetta rd Houston in the Spring arrea, not ready to pull the trigger on it yet, don't know how much longer my knees will last to get that 850lb beast off the kickstand, but was quoted 10,500.00 to convert

10500 sounds like a razor trike, did you call motortrike straight? H&H are great guys, but like every one are looking to make a buck, 10500 sounds way overpriced for a vtx kit.
