You can probably count on Wayne and I to want to go to Maw Maw's in the future.  We were planning on going 8/1, but if the weather is as hot as it has been  or if it is raining we are backing out of the ride.

Hot or not, I would go if I were going to be in town.   >:D Matter of fact, if I thought it would make it rain, I would cancel my Georgia trip and ride naked.  :ohwow:

Well, it appears I might be going to my niece's 3rd b-day in Madisonville, LA on Saturday.  It's still up in the air, but we'll probably end up going.  I love 12 hour round trips in a car...on I-10 ::)

OK, lets meet at the Raceway at 45 and FM 2920 at 8:00AM. Head up to Conroe and pic up Rex's crew and head up. This should put us there around 11:30.

Anyone have a route they want to use, or do yall want to use the route from last time?

OK, I could not find the route from last time, but here is one I just put together to get there. Alright Bryce, give us a route back!

http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&source=s_d&saddr=2710+Meadow+Tree+Ln,+Spring,+TX&daddr=FM+1484+Rd+to:FM+3081+Rd+to:FM-945%2FRR+2+to:FM+224+Rd+to:FM-356+to:TX-94+to:FM-2501%2FFM-357%2FTX-7+to:FM-228+to:32.022049,-95.101776+to:1010+Highway+110+North,+Whitehouse,+TX&geocode=%3BFUhVzwEd5FJR-g%3BFcSO0AEdNANS-g%3BFTjp0gEdVnVT-g%3BFTJ60wEds05U-g%3BFe6N1wEd7s5S-g%3BFYGH2wEdkmxV-g%3BFVQp3gEdZW9U-g%3BFUiD4gEdklRR-g%3B%3B&hl=en&mra=dpe&mrcr=0&mrsp=9&sz=11&via=1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9&sll=31.923027,-95.311203&sspn=0.261093,0.615921&ie=UTF8&ll=31.791221,-94.894409&spn=1.045857,2.463684&z=9

Route looks great, but it is saying almost 7 Hours of travel time...???  How can that be??  Arrival time at 11:30?

When you route google down back roads, it really doesn't figure time well. It is only 211 miles and if you divide that up by 7 hours, you are only averaging about 30 miles an hour. It said the same thing last time we went but it actually took up about 3 1/2 hours.
