That is really Purdy Jimmy.

I am having trouble finding a seat that adds 2-up capability to my 1300C and doesn't push me up on the tank. I am big guy (6'1" and 260) and almost all of the seats shove me forward.  I am happy with the stock seat position, but need the added pillion on the back for the wifey.  I bought a Mustang seat, and it shoved me too far forward.  I have the Mustang seat on all the forums "for sale", then will reapproach this from a different angle.

When I had my Wing, it had the same problem at the front. Too little space.

The search begins,

can anyone tell me if a seat for a 1300 c can be made to fit a 1300 r without to much trouble? Any one on here done it? What are the major differences? It seems as though there are more used aftermarket C seats for sale than ones for the R.  What's up with that?
thanks

The brackets are different and they are not interchangeable; it takes a bit of innovation to make it work. Most of the conversions I've seen are the R seat to a C; I'm not sure I've ever seen a C seat put on an R.

Hipshot--not a stock C seat, but an aftermarket such as a Mustang, Ultra, etc.  You're probly right though.  Why do I have to always be different?  Headguess is probly right, R riders are loyal.  LOL
