Dyno today(Now with Graphs AF #'s and video)
« on: November 28, 2007, 06:09:48 AM »

Well, I couldn't make it to Johnny Cheese earlier this month, but now that I finally got my bike running right, I want to get it dyno'd and my pc111 tuned....I know its late notice, but if anyone would like to ride, Patti and I will be leaving about 8:00am for a 9:00am appointment @ Third Coast Speed in Lake Charles, La. I've heard good things about these guys, and I will post a report when I return.  I was gona make a trip to Johnny's but simple economics prevailed

Here are the only engine mods....Thunder Tornado intake, complete pare valve and de-smog, HK side burner pipe, Barnett Clutch, Bosch 4419 plugs, Lucas 10w40 semi syn, pc111....my bike has always been fast, even before the mods, as several on this board can verify....Only great things to say about Third Coast Speed....this guy is a true pro...we made about 6 runs maybe more, tweaking the #'s each time...as you will see when I finally get around to downloading the pics, graphs and video...the HP # only changed slightly from stock map to final...the big increse was torque...10 full #'s in the mid range RPM...guys, it late, I'll get those graphs and stuff up tommorrow

wow that's great numbers
I don't have the PC3 and I ran 98.2 HP and 112.3 Torque with hypercharger and V&H bigshots
They really must have put down the sake when building your bike :D :D

Well, I've done the same thing to my '02C except for the clutch upgrade and V&H Bigshots and I am nowhere near those numbers...  Maybe yours is a VTX2000C.   ;D
The best I got was about 98.5hp and 114.5 Torque.   :-\
Here's my run.

I had mined dynoed last Feb. Thanks to TxCajun for pointing me to someone close. I went in looking for better gas milage with the best performance around 80 mph. Mike was very good about explaining stuff to me and I had lots of silly questions.

Make sure you're talking about the same numbers Average or Max.

Mine were:  WhlPwr HP       Avg 97.5   Max  115.1
                WhlTrq lb-ft.    Avg 107.0  Max  125.5

So, now you know Bryan, I let you win!   ;D ;D ;D  Did you ride I-10 East of Lake Charles any? It will beat you to death. It's like riding a mechanical bull.
