LATE BREAKING ANNOUNCEMENT!!!!

It appears that Snow's mention in TM has driven the bidness through the roof! (see DavidJ's note on page 2) I'm still going to head over there, but now am pulling the KSU time back 30 minutes for the Austin folks. It's about an hour over there, from the Hwy 79/I-35 spot, so leaving at 8:00 sharp should get us there around 9:00. 'Q for breakfast, yum, yum!

I reset the votes to zero, with this change, so go ahead and lemme know if there is anyone else interested in the earlier time. I'll be at the closed HEB around 7:45, with KSU at 8:00.  O0

All right, according to Texas Monthly, the best BBQ in Texas is East of us, in Lexington:

I'll post the details of the ride after we see how much interest there is, but we'll probably aim on getting there around 10 or so. They shut 'er down when the meat runs out, and the article mentions that is around noon, so we don't want to be left high and dry. It's about an hour to Lexington from the Cedar Park/Leander/North Austin area, YMMV. San Antonio/Temple/Belton/South Austin folks, run the numbers and see how far away it is. We can always throw a ride together after the eatin'!!

Regarding the voting options, I may have my sauces mixed up....  ::) ;D ;)

From a meet-up at Rudy's BBQ on I-35 in Selma, to Lexington via Bastrop..... 2 hours 5 min./ 110.8 miles.

New Braunfels sounds good. There's 3-4 of ya right there. We'll get off I-35 in San Marcos, then head up thru Bastrop.

Wish i could make it, i have to work friday night. Wont get home till 7:30am sat., then try to get some sleep. Next time. Everyone ride safe. It would be great to meet up with enyone going to ROT.

Also, a little bit of irony that we meet at Rudy's BBQ to ride up to Lexington for bbq.
