going to BIG BEND next weekend

this is my favorite ride, just thought I'd let you know.
only difference this year, i have this on order...

We did that last week on RD's R.A.T. ride.  My impression of Presodio is it is not a biker friendly place.  Also, keep your feet out of the tar (road is under construction).

Enjoy - It's a great ride!

Study Butte to Lajitas, is being resurfaced. Not machine asphalt! The compressed rock into tar kind. Be mindful of loose gravel. They've also widdened, and smoothed out some of the curves on the Presidio side.

Is that thing still alive. Probably over 15 years ago I was down there and gave that goat a couple of beers. It can chug  :o

I've done the beer can chicken thing before, never thought about beer can goat. I just happen to have a piece of pipe that will work for that kind of pit.

Apparently the entire goat family is drinking, but only papa can hold the bottle in his teeth, by himself.
Last year watched him down about 6 in 10 minutes. that damn goat must drink 30 bottle of beer a day.

 8) 8) It would be great to give yourself time to do turn around a couple of times, on the RAT, that was the best ride I have been on in a looooonnnnnggggg time. Heard myself hollering for more! (Condensation)!!!!
