BBT SINGERS NEEDED
« on: March 24, 2010, 02:15:44 PM »

This year for the first time we are having a DJ and Karaoke.  This might be the funniest thing since the Chicken man sang at one of the earlier BBT's. (some of you will remember that).

Anyway, the purpose of this post is to get song requests from any of you that have a desire to sing in front of your buddies.  If you will send me the name of the song and the artist, I'll send it along to the DJ and see if they can get it.

We already have a few commitments to singing.  I won't name any names just yet, but if there are any volunteers for participating, just feel free to pm me with your selections or wait till BBT and hop your  happy asses up on the stage

This could be a lot of fun!

Wayne and I were sailing w/friends in FL and after a few drinks we got up and did David Allen Coe's "You Never Even Called Me by My Name"...one of our friends who is a musician said we were the most entertaining tone deaf people he had ever heard.  So was that a compliment or an insult ????????????  I don't think I can get Wayne drunk enough to agree to do karaoke at BBT...beside I like some of you guys and hate to offend you  :D  :bikerider:

If you don't love what you're doing, then don't do it.
Your chances of success are directly proportional to the degree of pleasure you derive from what you do.

Garth Brooks - "Friends in Low Places" might be appropriate!

Any song from Buffet's album "Songs you know by heart"

+2 Lucky on David Allen Coe - "You never even called me by my name"

OK, you've got my name on the list but is there a chair with sides to hold me up in position? That's how drunk you'll have to get me to sing for you. AND I'M NOT BUYING!!!!!

Besides, I like MOST of you.  :t

I don't care what other people think. They don't do it very often!
Of Course it's dirty. It's hard to clean when the tires keep moving.

We'll have someone on both sides of you while you and Connie do your duet of "You never even called me by my name". Matter of fact I'll hold u up, but Connie said she could get u drunk enough so she can buy.
