It's been almost 10 years since the Austin group started up, and a lot of the folks either don't ride anymore, or are riding other bikes. There are three Meetup groups in Austin for riders interested in getting together, and they have pretty good attendance for the weekly rides. Most of them are RTE events, so not of much interest to me, but they are pretty active, and the main group, Austin Motorcycle Rider's Group, has over 1,000 members.
I believe "2 Wheeled Texans" is another real active group.
