Those little "stalks" that honda used to mount the headlight assembly to the headlight bezel is a joke waiting to become a problem. I poured epoxy and built up the whole area all around by a half inch on mine to give it the support it needed. Good meetin' ya' Isorg.

had a great time!

oh, and Warren, your electronic gremlins jumped over to my bike.

it seems that the front headlight ring broke it's headlamp retaining sockets, allowing the headlamp to bounce on the wires in the bucket.  It cut one of them in half, and stripped 2 others.  Making my entire headlight stop functioning.

But I owe Hick a beer, his expert help and hands on, had my light back up and working!

Wow. I didn't know I had that kind of power. Sorry you had the issues with the headlight. This is another reason why I love this board and all of the members. All you have to do is ask and help is there. Most of the time, you don't even need to ask. Warren

They made a pearl yellow 1300c in 2008. They also made white 1300's. I am not sure either color was sticky enough to stay on the 1800 due to the torque and horsepower!

I saw a Shadow last year at the Dealer's that was a Yellow.  It was a really stunning color on the bike.  Hung around at the Service Desk area while my bike was being looked at and the guy who owned the bike showed.  I asked him about the paint.  He said it was a custom Pearl Yellow.  It was a bright yellow but had the soft appearance of the Pearl Whites I have seen on the Cadillacs and Escalades.  If I have to repaint or get to that is where I think I will go.  I think it will stay on the 1800.

Did not know about the 1300's ... didn't look at them when I was looking at stock colors.
