I just sent my stock mufflers to VTXExhaustcom (FYNBO Welding) in Minnesota. Around $300 to have them reworked. They rework the innards of the stock mufflers and they sound great. Not obnoxiously loud but you can hear the bike coming and at idle in the blind spot. No remapping needed, bike runs great.
Excellent service - turned them around in 1 day. The whole process took 8 days. Very pleased.
