Help Needed with Fuel Injection Problem
« on: May 20, 2007, 03:06:31 PM »

Riding today, my fuel injection light kept coming on and the bike was sputtering, and dying while it was doing this. My bike is an '04 VTX 1800c, with 3700 miles on it. This is the first time it has done this since I bought the back 3 weeks and 700 miles ago. Anybody got any ideas? Please let me know asap, because I have a long ride in 2 weeks.

Thank you.

try checking out this thread posted a few days ago. your problem sounds like the ground issue as well. good luck.

Check your battery connections. These come loose alot and cause all kinds of stuff. :'(

Sorry,

I meant to post sooner about this, but I had a long ride to Amarillo, that I just got back from. It was a loose (negative) battery connection. Tightened it up, and it ran like a dream!

thanks for all the replies.
